Guild Bank Policy (as of 12/5/08) (submitted by Priori at 05:18pm PDT) As a general principle, no items from any tabs in the guild bank should be taken or purchased to be resold for profit. The guild bank is designed to be non-profit, and any advantages usually are made to benefit the guild. There is a no tolerance policy in this regard. Community Tabs 1-3: These tabs are used for general exchange of goods between guildmates that players feel are of nominal value. Items in these tabs are taken on a first come first serve basis, and non-active items placed within those tabs may be removed on a routine basis. While it is encouraged that if you take something from these tabs you eventually replace something of similar worth, there are no set requirements. If the idea of replacing an item in the tab would prevent you from taking the item, take the item! Locked Tabs 4-5 These tabs are used for higher price goods within the bank, and utilize the guild bank's GBP system of exchange for goods. Earning Points: Guild Bank points are set based on a metric of gold. As such we will pay points in the following ways: -On a regular basis, either weekly or bi-weekly, there will be a post in the "Stuff" forum which will outline the price we are buying items at, and the quantity desired. Items will be purchased roughly lower than the cost of AH prices. -Players may use gold to purchase points, at 1g:1GBP ratio. There is no option to use DKP to purchase GBP right now. -High priced items, such as world epics, may be held in the officer tab of the guild bank, up to a maximum of 1 month. We will advertise the item to guildmates on the list of goods sold, but you will not receive points until someone actually purchases the item. Spending Points: -Item prices will be updated weekly, on the front page of the guild bank website. Items can be purchased with gold instead of points at any time. -GBP can be exchanged or "withdrawn" for Gold once a month, up to a maximum of 50% of your GBP. Miscellaneous GBP Usage: -We can support transfers of GBP from Player to Player. Due to the tedium involved in the process, please do not abuse direct transfers. -On occasion, the guild bank will offer to help pay for goods that will benefit the guild. There will either be a 25% discount on the price of the good in the bank if purchased and used for the benefit (i.e. Resistance gear materials), or a 25% reimbursement for items on the Auction House if the Guild Bank does not have any in stock. -The guild bank will offer 3 month loans of gold up to 2x your GBP, and not to exceed 5,000g. Repayments should be made on a weekly basis. The Officer Tab: Players may deposit important items looted from a raid directly into the officer tab. In addition, we can hold other raid drop items of various groups for special purposes (i.e. Frozen Orbs meant for Resist Gear), and redistribute based on needs. There is no credit given to deposits into the Officer tab. DO NOT deposit other items into the tab. |
